Second-Hand Warships Transferred between WW1 and WW2

This list includes all the examples I have traced of second-hand warships that were transferred to become warships in another navy between the wars.  I would be glad to hear of any omissions or errors in this data - please don't hesitate to contact me on djc92@optusnet.com.au.

Note that L67 and L68 had never been completed for the RN, and their incomplete hulls were the property of their builder when they were sold.

There are numerous references which state that the USS Dolphin (PG-24) was sold to Mexico in 1922, where it became the Plan de Guadaloupe.  As far as I can tell, this did not occur.  The 1919 edition of Janes Fighting Ships lists Plan de Guadaloupe (ex-Dolphin) as being in Mexican Navy service in 1919 - some two years before USS Dolphin (PG-24) was decommissioned by the USN.  Furthermore key data given for Plan de Guadaloupe (including launch date, displacement and length) is significantly different to the known data for USS Dolphin (PG-24).  I can only assume that a different ship also called Dolphin had been acquired for the Mexican Navy at some time before 1919, and the reported sale of USS Dolphin (PG-24) appears to be an error.
